The teacher is a nation builder and is a guide on the path of teaching. He has a major responsibility. He establishes the aims and limits according to the students needs and abilities. He has a hand in preparing them for the struggle of life.
He helps the developing student to learn things which the student does not know and to understand what he learns. He is not only a teacher but also a qualified counselor in the school. The teacher has an important role in explaining, making clear, and informing. The teacher should have a skill for all these, for the set goals to be achieved.
A person in the teaching profession should be an example to his students and to all who think of him as a teacher. He should also possess the psychological attitude, contributing to the success or failure of a student appropriately.
Apart from the mentioned facts, a teacher does a service to the society by training the members of the society to be worthy citizens.
